MAYFLOWER POLICE DEPARTMENTApplicant InformationPOLICE OFFICER Officers
of the Mayflower Police Department patrol the streets, neighborhoods, parks,
schools and business districts within the city.They
enforce state and local, criminal and traffic laws, investigate crimes,
issue citations and make arrests, and assist citizens in need whenever
possible. Applicants
for Police Officer positions must meet the following criteria established
by the State of Arkansas
Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training, and by the City
of Mayflower:
POLICE DISPATCHERS Dispatchers
of the Mayflower Police Department monitor telephones and radios in the
communication center, interact with the public and other government agencies,
and dispatch police officers, firefighters and ambulances as needed.
Applicants
for Dispatcher positions must meet the following criteria established by
the City of Mayflower:
Applications
for employment are available at the Mayflower Municipal Building anytime
and will be maintained for a period of one year.The
